I know many of us use Linus Distros.
Talking of me, I am fond of testing different linux distros.

While having interest of testing different linux distros, i have faced a problem….

You need a cd or dvd in order to burn the iso of the distro to test it (There is an option of using virtual environments and also ubuntu gets installed inside windows just mounting the iso, but still…..)

and buying a cd or dvd each time you want to test a new distro or to get the newer version of the distro installed is harmful for your pocket (hehe it has been for mine)

So, in search of the solution, i got a cool piece of software called “UNetbootin”. This rather small piece of software is able to make a usb drive (hdd or pendrive) bootable using any of the distro’s u want.

Just fire up the software and give the location of the iso and the usb drive… its small waiting time and u r done… u will have a bootable pendrive in your hand containing the distro u want.

Really interesting thing about this software is that, if u have a preinstalled environment of windows (lets call it live version of windows xp ) then u can make the pendrive bootable of it too (I succeded in doing that)

So if you r interested then just give it a try you wont regret

Here is the link to download the software (Both linux and windowx version)
